Standing the bare frame first
Before any concrete pour or finish trade arrives, our crews set the two inner girders at centre span and hold them with temporary twin bracing until the splice plate is bolted and the first plumb check reads clean. The sequence starts on a checked deck, because a bare frame that is true from the first lift needs fewer corrections later and makes every later trade faster and safer to place. We lay out column bases, set the A-legs of the erection gantry and walk each girder into position in mirror pairs so the whole bent balances as it goes up.

Pouring the deck around the steel
Concrete that goes down against a live frame has to follow the steel, not fight it. We programme each slab pour as a sequence of bays, matched to the frame count that has already been plumbed, so the wet concrete never loads a bent that is still waiting on its splice. Pump lines, curing blankets and form-tie rows are drawn onto the same plan sheet the steel team uses. A pour that is sequenced this way finishes level, cures even and hands a flat deck to the next programme without rework.

Keeping the deck clear for the hook
A commercial site slows down when deliveries stack in the wrong bay and the crane cannot reach its pick sequence. Our logistics desk holds every delivery on a window, pre-positions mats and lay-down zones around the deck and stamps each inbound load onto the site gate sheet. Trucking, steel trailers and concrete pumps are sequenced so the gantry hook always has a clear swing. That planning keeps the frame moving, keeps the yard safe and keeps the client on programme.

Every lift written before it leaves the ground
Each girder is given a lift figure, a rig path and a landing mark before the crane lands on site. We balance the two frames left and right of the splice so the hook reads level, and we refuse to swing anything that has not been approved against the tower chart. Lift plans carry the weight chips, the pick radius and the exclusion zone under the boom. When the whistle blows for a lift, the whole deck knows what is moving, where it lands and who checks the plumb.

A file that tells the truth about every splice
Twin-tolerance work only holds if someone records it. Our inspection records keep the bolt torque chart, the plumb reading, the concrete test cylinders and the weld inspection notes next to each other on the same numbered page as the lift plan. When the frame is done we close out with a punch file the client can roll straight into the lift book. Good records keep the next programme honest and give the building owner an auditable history of how the structure went up.

Running the finish trades behind the frame
Once the last bent is plumb and the deck is cured, the fit-out programme takes over. We coordinate the partitions, services, ceilings and finishes to the exact frame layout, using the splice marks on the steel as the reference for every wall and riser. Trade access is scheduled like the lifts were, one crew clear before the next moves on, and every snag is caught while the trades are still on site. A frame that went up true gives the fit-out a clean grid to build on.

Every twin bent travels the same route on the way to true. No station is skipped, and a frame cannot reach Frame True until it has passed the last plumb gate.
Rig
The two girders are slung at centre balance and the rig is signed off by the lift lead before the hook takes load.
Swing
The mirror frames travel toward the splice plate on a cleared path while the deck exclusion zone holds tight.
Land
Each girder is seated on its hearing pad and held by twin temporary braces so it cannot drift off the bolting grid.
Splice
The centre splice plate is bolted and the joint torque is recorded, matching the left face to the right face.
Plumb
The bent is checked against the plumb gate. On the pass it is stamped true. A frame marked close is never standing.
